The periodical publication “News of the Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences” publishes articles by domestic and foreign authors containing scientific results in mathematics, physics, computer science, economics, history, philosophy, and geophysics. By order of the editorial board, the magazine also publishes review articles.

The journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Science, for the degree of Doctor of Science in scientific specialties and their respective branches of science should be published (as of February 15, 2023, p. 1163) :

The journal is intended for researchers, teachers, graduate students, undergraduates. Frequency of publication – six issues per year. Journal articles are referenced and indexed at the RSCI (eLibrary.Ru).
